Almaty, as revised on August 17, 2026

Dieses Dokument wird in seiner maßgeblichen englischen Fassung veröffentlicht. Übersetzungen dienen nur der Verständlichkeit und haben keine Rechtswirkung.

This Cookie Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) describes which cookies and similar technologies are used by the https://plotex.io/ platform (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform” or the “Website”), for what purposes, on what legal grounds, and how the User can manage them.

The Platform Operator is «PLOTEX», Limited Liability Partnership (BIN 260840000843), Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the “Administrator”, “Operator” or “we”).

The Policy is an integral part of the Platform’s Privacy Policy and User Agreement. By using the Platform, the User confirms that they have read the Policy.

1.What are cookies and similar technologies?

1.1.A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the User’s device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when visiting the Website. Cookies allow the Website to recognize the User’s device, remember preferences, and ensure the correct operation of its functionality.

1.2.In addition to cookies, the Platform may use similar technologies: local storage (localStorage / sessionStorage), pixels, SDK, web beacons and other identifiers.

1.3.Cookies are not used to run programs or transmit viruses. They do not provide access to the User’s device storage.

2.Cookie categories

The Administrator uses the following categories of cookies:

2.1.Strictly Necessary

Provide basic functionality for the Website: authentication, security, session persistence, load balancing, CSRF and fraud protection. Without these cookies, the Platform cannot function properly. Consent for these cookies is not required in any jurisdiction.

2.2.Functionality / Preferences

Remember the User’s choice (language, region, interface settings, display preferences). Improve the usability of the Website.

2.3.Analytics / Performance

They help us understand how Users interact with the Platform (which pages they visit, how much time they spend there, where they come from). Used to improve the service. Data is typically aggregated or anonymized. With your consent, this also includes session recordings (PostHog): a replay of your clicks, scrolling and navigation on the Platform, used to find usability problems. Recordings show what appears on screen, including the messages of your conversations with AI characters and the replies you receive. Text you are typing into an input field is masked and is not recorded.

2.4.Marketing / Advertising

These are used to display relevant advertising, measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, build interest profiles, and perform retargeting. Can be installed by both the Administrator and third parties.

3.List of cookies used

Below is an indicative list of cookies that may be used on the Platform. The specific set of cookies may vary depending on the services used and the User’s settings.

4.Legal basis and differences by jurisdiction

Cookie consent rules vary depending on the User’s location. Jurisdiction is determined, in particular, by the IP address, browser settings, declared place of residence and other available data.

4.1.European Union

For users located in the EU, the requirements of the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive apply.

  • Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
  • Functionality, analytics and marketing cookies require prior explicit consent (opt-in).
  • The consent shall be informed, specific, voluntary and unambiguous. Pre-checked checkboxes are not allowed.
  • The User shall be given the option of granular consent (selecting individual categories) and an equivalent option to reject (Reject All).
  • Nonessential cookies are not loaded until consent is obtained.

4.2.United Kingdom

For UK users, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR apply.

  • Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
  • Analytical cookies (used solely for statistics and service improvement) do not require consent, but do require transparency and an effective opt-out mechanism.
  • Functionality cookies (preferences, UX improvement) do not require consent, but do require transparency and opt-out.
  • Security and fraud prevention cookies do not require consent.
  • Marketing/behavioral cookies still require opt-in.

4.3.United States of America

For residents of California and other states with similar laws:

  • Users have the right to opt out of the “selling” or “sharing” of personal data, including data collected through cookies.
  • The Administrator does not sell personal data in the traditional sense. If the data is used for cross-context behavioral advertising, the User may opt out through the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism or the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with privacy laws have appropriate rights to opt out of targeted advertising.

5.Mechanism for consent obtaining and managing

5.1.When visiting the Website for the first time (and when the essential terms change), the User is shown a cookie banner, which:

  • informs about the use of cookies;
  • allows them to accept all cookies (Accept All);
  • allows them to reject all non-essential cookies (Reject All) with the same level of convenience;
  • allows them to go to the preference center (Cookie Preferences / Manage Cookies) and select categories (granular consent).

5.2.Non-essential cookies (functionality, analytics, marketing – depending on jurisdiction) are not installed unless consent is obtained.

5.3.The User may change or revoke consent at any time through:

  • cookie preference center on the Website;
  • browser settings (delete cookies, block third-party cookies, etc.);
  • sending an application to info@plotex.io.

5.4.Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

6.Third parties

6.1.The Platform may set cookies from the following third parties:

  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Cloud and related services) – analytics, infrastructure.
  • PostHog (PostHog Inc., EU cloud hosted in Frankfurt, Germany) – product analytics and session recordings, only with your consent to analytics cookies.
  • Polar – payment processing.
  • Telegram – when using the authorization/account linking widget.

6.2.The Administrator recommends that Users familiarize themselves with the privacy policies of these third parties. The Administrator does not control cookies installed by third parties independently.

7.Cookie retention periods

7.1.Cookies are divided into:

  • Session cookies – deleted after closing the browser.
  • Persistent cookies are retained for a certain period of time (from several days to 2 years, depending on the type).

7.2.Specific terms are indicated in the table in Section 3. After expiration, cookies are automatically deleted or become invalid.

8.User rights

8.1.In addition to the rights described in the Privacy Policy, the User may:

  • revoke consent to the use of non-essential cookies at any time;
  • delete cookies through browser settings;
  • use browser extensions and opt-out signals (including Global Privacy Control);
  • file a complaint with a supervisory authority (for the EU – the national data protection authority; for the UK – the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); for California – the California Privacy Protection Agency).

8.2.Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the User from using certain features of the Platform (account login, payment, session saving).

9.Policy amendment

9.1.The Administrator may update the Policy from time to time. The new version shall be published on the Website and come into force on the date of publication, unless otherwise specified.

9.2.In case of significant changes, the Administrator may repeatedly request the User’s consent via a cookie banner.
